Tanya Milton RGN, Dip CHS, BSc (Hons) Nursing, BSc (Hons) Podiatry, MChS
Tanya has worked in various specialist fields within the NHS over the past 20 years, some of which have included diabetic foot clinics, wound healing clinics, wound research, dermatology and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Tanya has a particular interest in the diabetic foot, common foot complaints i.e. corns/ callous and skin related foot complaints i. e. psoriasis/ eczema. Tanya is committed to achieving best practice along Clinical Governance guidelines on healthcare and evidence based management, she is committed to continuous professional development and aims to provide patients with the best treatment for their needs.
Jane Blasizza BSc (Hons) Podiatry, MChS
Jane graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Podiatry in 2009. She has treated many conditions of the foot that include ingrowing toenails, corns, verrucas and fungal infections.
Jane has formed professional working relationships with many healthcare professionals and provides her expertise on a consultancy basis or via direct referral.
Through the use of the latest techniques and foot care methodology, Jane is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain the best foot care possible.
Jane has previously worked for a large multi-national company in Customer Service and Quality Assurance. Her expertise in this area ensures that customers of The Vale Foot Clinic receive a first class service.
Amy Martin BSc (hons) MChs SRCh, Consultant Podiatrist .
After completing a Bsc in sports science and a Bsc Podiatry degree Amy has worked in the NHS Cardiff and Vale Trust and within a private practice at Ace Feet in Motion, Cardiff. After two years in both the private and the NHS sector she took a full time position within Ace Feet in Motion specialising in musculoskeletal and gait analysis including the provision of orthoses/insoles. Amy has a particular interest working within the sports field and has worked alongside Cardiff City FC and the Welsh Rugby Union.
In October 2011 Amy took up a podiatry position within the MoD at RAF St Athan continuing her work in the Biomechanical field treating soldiers and civilians. In August 2015 she founded 'The Foot Clinic Wales, again focusing on the musculoskeletal side of podiatry including sports injuries and provision of orthoses/insoles. She continues to work within the MOD today and we are pleased to welcome her to the Vale Foot Clinic.
