Verrucas are caused by the HPV (human papilloma virus) and are notoriously difficult to get rid of. Whilst we offer a variety of treatments for verruca at the Vale Foot Clinic we also offer patients the option of cryotherapy to freeze their verrucas.
Cryotherapy freezes the verruca at temperatures as low as minus 89 Degrees Centigrade. This is much lower than over the counter ‘freeze’ treatments that are available.
