What is Podiatry?

Podiatry (formerly chiropody) is an internationally recognised name for a foot specialist. Podiatrists are highly skilled health professionals that have been trained to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate abnormal conditions of the feet and lower limbs. They work with people of all ages but play a particularly important role in helping older people to stay mobile and, therefore, independent.

The Vale Foot Clinic

The Vale Foot Clinic offers podiatry/chiropody treatment out of their clinics in Dinas Powys Medical Centre and Barry.

At the Vale Foot Clinic we offer a relaxed, professional service that provides high standards of podiatric care, helping you maintain the best foot health possible.
